BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — North of the River Recreation and Parks District is asking local kids and teens to share what they think needs to be improved in the community’s parks.
NOR is updating their master plan which will include improvements to the programs they offer and upgrades at local parks.
The organization wants to know what local youth would like to see added to NOR facilities and what kind of activities their programs should offer.
NOR Director of Community Relations Jasmin LoBasso joined ARC Bakersfield to share more details.
LoBasso says youth that complete the survey before June 26 also have a chance to win prizes including NOR merchandise, tickets to CALM ZOO and more.
Youth ages 11 to 19 can take the survey at norfun.org.
