San Diego community philanthropist Ernie Hahn has joined Douglas Elliman Realty, alongside his partner, Richelle Jett. Based in Douglas Elliman’s Del Mar office, the duo known as “Ernie and the Jett” will further strengthen the brokerage’s presence across Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, and North County Coastal San Diego.
According to a news release, Lena Johnson, president of brokerage for Douglas Elliman said the luxury real team brings “exceptional market expertise, strong community ties, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful impact in the region.”
Hahn maintains a very personal connection to the Del Mar community where he grew up and continues to live today. Coming from a family deeply rooted in Southern California real estate, Hahn was the general manager of the San Diego Sports Arena for over 25 years. His philanthropic and civic involvement includes founding the Caddy Hack Golf Festival, benefitting Boys to Men Mentoring; the Del Mar Santa Crawl, benefitting the Del Mar Junior Lifeguard Program; and co-founding of the Del Mar Wine & Food Festival, benefitting Feeding San Diego.
