Sacramento Republic FC has decided how luxury suites will look like at the club’s new stadium at the Railyards.Chief Revenue Officer Dustin Vicari joined KCRA 3 in-studio to show renderings for the suites. Vicari said the suites are aimed at marrying “Sacramento elegance with a little bit of a modern take.” He also said that infrastructure work is happening now underground at the planned site for the Republic’s new stadium. “We’ll start seeing the stadium come out of the ground this summer and into the fall,” he said. The stadium aims to be ready for the start of the 2028 season in March. Vicari also talked about the club’s block parties that are planned in downtown Sacramento for the World Cup. Republic FC is organizing a free two-day block party with giant screens at the plaza downtown, at 910 I Street, on June 24 for the Mexico vs. the Czech Republic match, and on June 25 for the USA vs. Turkey match. As part of the festivities, fans will receive a commemorative scarf. Republic FC officials say they expect attendance in the thousands during the two-day event. While attendance is free, you need to sign up for a ticket to the block parties.See more coverage of top California stories here | Download our app | Subscribe to our morning newsletter | Find us on YouTube here and subscribe to our channel
