A man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in the Arden-Arcade area on Saturday, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to reports of a shooting around 11:20 a.m. at Prestige Liquor and Wine on Howe Avenue. When they entered the business, they found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.(Previous coverage in video above)Lifesaving measures were attempted, but the man died at the scene, the sheriff’s office said. The 31-year-old was identified by family as Kenneth Peace. Through surveillance footage and witness statements, detectives identified the suspect as 28-year-old Xander Burnside, the sheriff’s office said. Burnside was found in Pinole in Contra Costa County and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Sacramento Main Jail, where he was booked on murder charges and is ineligible for bail.
