No charges will be filed against singer Chris Brown’s security guard after he fired a shot from an airgun during an altercation with a woman outside the artist’s Tarzana home, prosecutors said Wednesday.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told NBC4 Investigates that the potential case was declined due to insufficient evidence.
The altercation unfolded May 1 when a woman drove onto the street outside the west San Fernando Valley home and encountered Brown’s security guard. The guard fired a CO2-style handgun at the woman’s car, damaging it, police said.
Details about the confrontation were not available.
No injuries were reported.
