Harrison Ford and friends gathered at the Sunset Tower Hotel on May 12 to celebrate the launch of his limited-edition, single malt Scotch whisky in partnership with Glenmorangie. Woody Harrelson, Tony Hawk and Tim Robinson joined the Hollywood icon for a night of indulgence in Ford’s favorite liquor, which he eloquently described as “very nice.”

On May 14, renowned personal stylist Catherine Bloom celebrated the opening of Catherine Bloom for Nordstrom — an appointment-only studio created in collaboration with interior designer Brigette Romanek. Bloom serves as Nordstrom’s first-ever director of luxury styling, toasting cocktails to the new West Hollywood retail concept alongside House of Harlow CEO Anita Gatto, Sara Weinstock, Debra Lee and the rest of fashion’s finest.

Everyone’s favorite denim has landed in West Hollywood with the opening of AGOLDE’s first flagship store on Melrose Place. The May 14 celebration featured a DJ set by Liv.e alongside custom installations by Niki Haas, marking the artist’s first and only commercial interior project. Guests like Ines de Ramon, Lizzy McAlpine and Elsa Majimbo enjoyed custom inseam tailoring, personalized styling, seasonal previews and even a performance from the Los Angeles Philharmonic to close out the evening.

Hermosa Beach-based premium handbag designer Hammitt debuted its summer ‘26 collection at the historic Virginia Robinson Gardens in Beverly Hills on May 20. Guests enjoyed sips and light bites as models showcased the assortment of luxury leather bags, appearing in earthy green and pale pink hues à la Wicked.

Michelin-starred chef José Andrés gathered friends and collaborators at San Laurel, his restaurant at the luxury Conrad Los Angeles, on May 27 to honor the release of his latest cookbook, Spain My Way. Everyone from Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex to Wolfgang Puck, Gustavo Dudamel, Maria Shriver and Kyra Sedgwick savored an evening of scallop crudo, Andrés’ iconic liquid olives, tortilla española with caviar and wine pairings from Spain. As if celebrations couldn’t get any better, the book was named a New York Times bestseller the very same day.

May 30 marked the annual MOCA Gala at the Geffen Contemporary, honoring philanthropist and longtime MOCA trustee Eugenio López Alonso alongside artists Paul McCarthy and Kara Walker. The event, hosted by dancer and multi-disciplinary creative Stephen Galloway, raised over $3 million for the museum and featured live performances by the MOCA Gala Symphony Orchestra. Guests like Keanu Reeves, Balthazar and Rosetta Getty, Ava DuVernay and Rufus Wainwright were immersed in an installation conceived by L.A. artist Piero Golia.

Beverly Hills’s first-of-its-kind Naturophatic Longevity Clinic celebrated its May 30 opening with A-listers Chrissy Teigen, Sofia Vergara, Ricky Martin, Donna Langley, Sarah Shahi and more. Hosted by founder Dr. Nigma Talib, the brick-and-mortar clinic offers everything from preventative healthcare to hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Guests enjoyed a custom culinary menu by Chaumont Bakery & Café, as well as empanadas by Manola Vergara and Dr. Nigma’s cult-favorite Super Vitamin C Cocktail.

Icon Skincare celebrated its launch at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on what would’ve been Marilyn Monroe’s 100th birthday. The new skincare brand is inspired by Madam Renna, the resident facialist of Hollywood’s Golden Age who famously worked with the iconic blonde bombshell. The June 1 event was in partnership with the Academy’s new exhibit, Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon, and was enjoyed by Dita Von Teese, Michael Urie, January Jones, Ashley Madekwe and more.

On June 2, LALO Tequila celebrated its latest partnership with English professional golfer Charley Hull at Beverly Hills’s La Dolce Vita. The three-time LPGA Tour winner represents the brand’s first golf ambassador, and toasted the new union with her very own signature tequila cocktail: the Charley Hull Lychee Martini, a citrusy, elderflower and lychee-based beverage that Hull herself poured for guests.
