SAN LUIS OBISPO CO, Calif. (FOX26) — Police activity in Grover Beach Wednesday morning was tied to a retail theft investigation originating in Fresno.
The Grover Beach Police Department says its officers assisted the Fresno Police Department in serving a search warrant in the 200 block of North Oak Park.
The warrant is connected to a retail theft case under investigation in Fresno.

Officers made contact with the occupants of the property and are conducting a search.
Police emphasized that the area is safe and there is no threat to the public.
