SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

A 51-year-old man died after being found with stab wounds inside a home in Sacramento County early Saturday, the sheriff’s office said.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call about the stabbing in the 1900 block of Ethan Way around 2:30 a.m.

The man, who was found with two apparent stab wounds, died at the scene despite medical efforts by first responders.

A suspected attacker fled the scene before deputies arrived, the sheriff’s office said.

Crime scene investigators and detectives are investigating.
