SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — A woman was stabbed to death in a San Jose apartment Thursday night, police said.
San Jose police responded to reports of a stabbing in an apartment on the 80 block of Descanso Drive around 11:45 p.m. Police said they found two victims, a man and a woman, both suffering from at least one stab wound. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment where the woman was pronounced dead.
Police said it appears the man was responsible for the fatal stabbing and that the woman knew him. He has not been identified yet.
This is the city’s 11th homicide this year.
The investigation is ongoing.
