Lee’s Air, Plumbing & Heating is taking its community outreach on the road this summer with a new branded ice cream truck that will deliver free treats across Fresno neighborhoods and local events.
The Fresno-based home services company said the branded truck will offer free ice cream with no purchase required as part of its summer community outreach efforts. The company plans to visit schools, workplaces, neighborhoods and community events throughout the summer.
“Our mission is to serve people — our customers, our coworkers, and our community — and have fun doing it,” said Derek Franks, chief operating officer at Lee’s Air. “An ice cream truck is about as fun as it gets. We just want to show up in the neighborhoods we serve and do something good. It’s hot outside — here’s some ice cream, on the house.”
Starting June 15, residents can submit requests for the truck to visit their events through LeesIceCreamTruck.com or Lee’s social media accounts.
Scheduled stops include the Boys and Girls Club Zimmerman Club on June 25, Sierra Vista Mall on June 27, Fancher Creek on July 2, Harlan Ranch on July 9, Carriage House Park on July 16, and a tentative appearance at Chukchansi Park during a Fresno Grizzlies game on July 23.
Additional summer stops will be announced on social media.
Lee’s Air, Plumbing & Heating provides HVAC, plumbing, insulation and roofing services across several states. CEO Damon Bromagem said the ice cream truck reflects the company’s commitment to serving the community.
“The ice cream truck is a reflection of who we are. We take care of people,” Bromagem said. “If we can make someone’s day a little cooler along the way, that’s a win.”
