Victor Heights—A 35-year-old man was killed in a shooting, authorities said today.
The shooting occurred at 9:10 p.m. Sunday outside an apartment in the 1100 block of White Knoll Drive, just east of Echo Park according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.

The victim was shot by a male suspect who fled the scene in a vehicle, she said.
The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance where he died from gunshot wounds, the spokeswoman said.
The victim’s name was not released pending notification of relatives.
