BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Three illegal gaming machines, cash, and illegal flavored tobacco products were seized from a mini mart on Brundage Lane after police received several citizen complaints.

The Bakersfield Police Department said on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, at around 1:45 p.m., detectives from the Bakersfield Police Department Vice Unit were called to Cloud 9 Mini-Mart, located at 555 Bundage Lane, in response to multiple citizen complaints regarding illegal gambling activity.

Police said during the investigation, three illegal gaming machines were seized, along with money and flavored tobacco products, which are illegal under state law.

According to police, one employee at the business was cited for possession and or/control of a slot machine.
