BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A 78-year-old Bakersfield man who was stabbed to death June 7 in east Bakersfield has been identified as Amador L. Ramos, according to the Kern County coroner.
The coroner said Ramos was found by deputies at 5:40 p.m. in the 1100 block of Grace Street when they arrived for a report of a stabbing.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said that during the investigation, at around 8 p.m., 26-year-old Angel Garcia Meza was arrested near Morning Drive and College Avenue.

He was booked for murder and a warrant.
Meza pleaded not guilty to murder and related charges on June 9, court records show. He is due in court for a hearing on June 22.
