On Thursday, a four-day FIFA Fan Zone kicks off at downtown Los Angeles’ Union Station. Featured matches include the final group stage game between the United States, which already advanced to the Round of 32, and Türkiye.Forty-eight teams are part of the expanded tournament, which culminates with the final on July 19.
A free fan event at Los Angeles’ historic Union Station is one of several watch parties set for Thursday when the United States takes on Türkiye in the final World Cup group stage matchup for both teams.
The USA already claimed a spot in the knockout Round of 32 with wins over Paraguay and Australia. Türkiye has already been eliminated from the next phase of the expanded 48-team North American tournament.
Los Angeles is home to 10 World Cup 26 Fan Zones. Tickets are still available for the community events, which will feature live match broadcasts, fan activations, music, food and more. Each Zone will offer a “distinct and locally inspired experience,” according to the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee.
Admission to Thursday’s event at Union Station, a time-capsule of a train hub that opened in May 1938, is free. The venue will feature simultaneous match viewing, including the USA v. Türkiye, scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Los Angeles Stadium in Inglewood.
Other matches scheduled for Thursday include Curaçao v. Ivory Coast, and Ecuador v. Germany at 1 p.m.; Japan v. Sweden, and Tunisia v. Netherlands at 4 p.m.; and Paraguay and Australia at 7 p.m.

About the 2026 World Cup
The group stage lasts until June 27, then the top two teams in each group along with the eight best third-place finishers will advance to the Round of 32 beginning on June 28.
The remaining winning teams will then play in the Round of 16 starting on July 4. The quarterfinals will be held on July 9, and the semifinals will be July 14 and July 15, leading up to the championship match at MetLife Stadium on July 19.
