The two people who were found dead in a parking garage on the San Jose State University campus last month were formally identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office on Thursday.
Angelo Henry, 36, and Deziree Auelua-Misa, 30, were found unresponsive inside a car parked in the West Garage on the corner of South Fourth and East San Salvador streets in San Jose on the afternoon of May 23.
Henry and Auelua-Misa were both natives of Seaside in Monterey County.
Henry was a mixed martial arts fighter and fight promoter, while Auelua-Misa worked as food and beverage manager at a hotel. Both victims had children.
The pair was noticed earlier that day but it had been assumed they were sleeping, according to university police Capt. Jermaine Thomas. After the pair had not moved for several hours, authorities were notified.
SJSU officers gave aid to the victims but they were pronounced dead. The causes of death for the pair were not immediately available.
