Kern County Public Works announces new gate fees at landfills, transfer stations

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Anyone dropping off trash or debris at Kern County Public Works landfills and transfer stations will now pay new gate fees.

Officials announced the updated fees on Thursday, and the changes are effective July 1, 2026, at all Kern County Public Works landfills and transfer stations.
