The fan favorite restaurant Earl of Sandwich has reopened at the Downtown Disney District this month after a few years of operating in temporary, pop-up locations at the retail center.

It first opened in Anaheim in 2012. The newly constructed building, next to the west entrance of Downtown Disney by Din Tai Fung, is the largest location in the restaurant chain’s portfolio.

Earl of Sandwich, founded by Robert Earl in partnership with the Montagu family, currently has 33 outposts in the U.S., Canada and France.

A new addition to the restaurant is The Carvery, where pastrami is carved fresh in full view of customers along with other food preparation. Another is The Pub located within Earl of Sandwich, serving draft beers, wines and frozen cocktails.

“We didn’t want to simply build another Earl of Sandwich. We wanted to create a destination worthy of the Downtown Disney District,” Founder Robert Earl said in a statement.

An all-new Earl of Sandwich is now open in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. Menu selections include The Original 1762, The Full Montagu and The Holiday Turkey, as well as other freshly baked sandwiches on artisan breads, soups, salads, sides, breakfast items and desserts.
