Finding gorgeous garb that pays imaginative homage to Goku from “Dragon Ball” or Monkey D. Luffy from “One Piece” is just the first festive step for many Anime Expo guests, the pop culture mavens who gather for one, two, three, or four days of reveling at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The colorful clothing that completes your incredible cosplay ensemble is a major part of the annual party for many attendees, though, of course, you don’t need to costume-up to attend.

The Opening and Closing Ceremonies also help to set the vibrant tone of the event, which draws people from across Southern California and many guests from cities, states, and countries beyond.
