Families look forward to going to the Oakland County Fair, which runs from July 10 through July 19 at Springfield Oaks County Park on 12451 Andersonville Rd. in Davisburg. For this year’s fair, Oakland County Parks has partnered with the fair organizers to celebrate the fair’s 60th anniversary and to correspond with the nation’s 250th anniversary.
There will be a grand opening celebration on July 10 with the dedication of a Civil War marker, a color guard presentation, and a recognition ceremony for Military Appreciation Day. For this day, those with a valid military ID can get into the fair for free. At 9:50 p.m., there will be a fireworks show at the horse arena.
“Opening Day 2026 will be more than just the start of the Fair. It’s a celebration of our history, our community, and our country,” said LC Scramlin, general manager of the Oakland County Fair. “We are proud to partner with Oakland County Parks to create a meaningful and memorable experience for our community,” according to the Oakland County Times.
On opening day, the first 300 guests get complimentary cake and ice cream, while the first 400 county residents who register through the Oakland County Fair’s website receive a complimentary one-day parking pass.

The Oakland County Fair is open Monday through Thursday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. On the last day of the fair, Sunday, July 19, the fair runs from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Admission to the fair is $15 per vehicle, $10 for a motorcycle, or for walk-ins.
