BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing 61-year-old man.
Police said John Luis was last seen on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, at about 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of Taft Highway, near South H Street.
Luis is described as a White man, 5’10” tall, 155 pounds, balding with black and white hair, and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and sandals.

He is considered at-risk due to medical conditions.
