With the help of Automated License Plate Readers, investigators tracked down the suspect and took him into custody on suspicion of vehicle burglary and narcotics, police said.
During the arrest, police say they found $15,000 in cash that had been taken during the vehicle burglary. The case has been turned over to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office, which will weigh whether to charge the suspect.
