Several community mobile health clinics near Boyle Heights were launched to provide health services in an area affected by a days-long fire at a cold food storage warehouse.
The clinics are city partnership with St. John’s Community Health, AltaMed and Clínica Romero. No appointments are necessary.
Health services include the following:
Respiratory health screenings
Oxygen level checks
Asthma and breathing assessments
Blood pressure and basic health screenings
Eye and skin irritation evaluations
Health education on smoke exposure
Mental health support
Care navigation and referrals
Connection to ongoing primary care
