BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A sentencing date has been set for former CSU Bakersfield assistant basketball coach Kevin Mays, nearly a year after Bakersfield police were alerted to a human trafficking investigation, according to court records.

Mays, accused of trafficking a woman across state lines, pleaded no contest in court today to three felony charges: prostitution, possessing child sexual abuse material, and possessing a controlled substance while armed.
