A motorcyclist injured in a crash last month in San Jose has died, marking the 23rd traffic-related death of 2026, police said Wednesday.
The wreck was reported at about 1:57 p.m. on June 22 in the 1000 block of North Tenth Street.
According to the San Jose Police Department, a 2001 Toyota Tundra was traveling north on North Tenth Street and turning left into a parking lot when it was struck by a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling south on North Tenth Street.
The rider, an adult man, was taken to a local hospital with major injuries. On July 1, investigators were notified that he had died of injuries sustained in the crash.
The pickup truck driver, also an adult man, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said.
The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner has not yet identified the motorcycle rider.
