OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A Farmington Hills is accused of violently murdering his grandmother.
The 34-year-old, Zeff Nikollbibaj, has been charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm.
According to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, the man allegedly killed his grandmother, 78-year-old Ana Nikollbibaj, by shooting her in the head and bludgeoning her with a metal pry bar.
The OCPO released these details:
Police found the victim unconscious on her bedroom floor, suffering from severe head trauma and lacerations. A spent firearm shell was found near her body. She was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A bullet was later recovered during the medical examination.
The man would spend life in prison if found guilty.
“Ana Nikollbibaj’s murder is especially shocking because the alleged killer is her grandson,” said Prosecutor Karen McDonald. “Sadly, this is a reminder that domestic violence takes many forms. While nothing we do will bring Ana back, we will work to hold her killer accountable.”
