Since her last Bay Area visit in August 2025, Olivia Dean has shot to stardom.
Shortly after her show at the Warfield, the British singer-songwriter released her second studio album in September 2025. “The Art of Loving” included hits “Nice to Each Other,” “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” and “Man I Need.”
The then-26-year-old next won the award for Best New Artist at the Grammys in February. She took the accolade of the same name at the BET Awards on Sunday, June 28.
Dean first broke through in 2019 with the single “Reason to Stay.” She followed the release that year with her debut EP “OK Love You Bye,” which included her eponymous viral soft-pop track.
As Dean returns to San Francisco a year after performing at the 2,454-capacity Warfield, her Bay Area crowd has grown nearly tenfold. Tickets have gone fast for her two shows Friday-Saturday, July 10-11, at Chase Center, which has a concert capacity of around 19,500.
