(FOX40.COM) — Three semi-trailers caught fire Thursday night in a Sacramento County commercial vehicle yard, officials said.

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to a reported fire at 6455 Hedge Avenue, southeast of the Florin Fruitridge Industrial Park, where they found three semi-trailers in flames, Captain Mark Nunez said.
Firefighters used an “aggressive fire attack” with hoses to keep the fire from spreading to the surrounding vehicles in the yard, Nunez explained.
Crews successfully contained the fire, and there were no injuries. The fire’s cause is still under investigation.
Nunez offered tips for residents who spot vehicle fires.
“Move to a safe location immediately and call 911,” Nunez said. He warned that commercial vehicle fires in particular can “spread rapidly” and “produce hazardous smoke.”
