• Headlands Center for the Arts raised more than $1 million for its artists-in-residence program, fellowships and public programs at its annual art auction on June 4 at the center in Sausalito. The event was attended by more than 300 people, including Kelley Berg, of Inverness; Headlands Center for the Arts Executive Director Louisa Gloger, of Mill Valley; and Leigh Wells, of Sausalito.

• Redwood Credit Union raised $43,185 for the Santa Rosa Symphony, the Napa Valley Education Foundation’s summer music camps and the Marin Girls Chorus at its fourth annual Birthday Benefit Bash on April 18 at HopMonk Tavern in Sebastopol. The event, which commemorated the birthdays of Redwood Credit Union CEO and President Brett Martinez and Walking Mirrors lead singer Mark Nelson of San Rafael, was attended by 250 people, including Scott Fulton, of Novato.
