SACRAMENTO, Calif — At least $300,000 in citations were issued in Sacramento on July 4 in connection to illegal fireworks.

Sacramento Fire Department said that number comes from about 70 citations issued on July 4.

One home in the North Sacramento and Del Paso Heights area is expected to receive at least $100,000 in fines because of the number of fireworks set off at the property, according to Sacramento Fire. Officials said the violations were documented using drone footage.

The department said it will continue working on the remaining citation totals over the next few weeks. The preliminary numbers do not include citations issued on July 2 or July 3.
