Los Angeles chose Illinois freshman guard Keaton Wagler with the fifth pick, setting up a matchup of the two lottery picks for the first time in the NBA.

Acuff Jr. opened up summer league play with 25 points on 29 shots while dishing out the game-winning assist. He followed that up with 22 points on 19 shots in another Sacramento win.

This game will be the summer league debut for both Los Angeles and Wagler. In his one season in college, Wagler led Illinois with 17.9 points and 4.2 assists per game. He was a revelation this past season after entering college outside of the top 100 in his high school class.

On the other hand, Acuff Jr. was the 10th-ranked player in the class coming out of high school. He dominated his freshman campaign with 23.5 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game.
