BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A woman was arrested for DUI after CHP Bakersfield said she was allegedly driving 107 mph in a pink vehicle just after noon and had more than twice the legal limit.
California Highway Patrol of Bakersfield said while on routine patrol, an officer saw a vehicle traveling at 107 MPH.
According to CHP, he conducted an enforcement stop, and while conversing with the driver, identified as a woman, he saw signs and symptoms of impairment.
The driver failed to perform the field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated and consequently she was arrested for DUI, more than twice the legal limit, according to CHP.
CHP Bakersfield posted a photo of the breathalyzer, showing the date of June 30 at 12:41 p.m., with a 0.191 BAC.

The vehicle, shown in a photo by CHP as a pink SUV, was towed.
The woman was booked at Lerdo Jail.
