ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Search and Rescue crews, along with family and friends, are actively searching for a missing 63-year-old Long Beach woman who disappeared Friday morning while riding her dirt bike in the El Mirage Off-Highway Vehicle area.

Julie Goforth was last seen at approximately 10 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, riding a green and black Kawasaki dirt bike.

According to family friend Mikki Manfredonia, who spoke with VVNG, Goforth had been riding with a friend when the two became separated.

“Julie was out riding yesterday morning with a friend, they got separated and Julie did not make it back to camp,” Manfredonia said.

The pair had been camping near the El Mirage Visitor Center entrance. Search and Rescue personnel have been searching for Goforth since about midday Friday and continued search efforts Saturday morning. Search teams remain staged at the visitor center while crews search the surrounding desert.

The family is asking anyone who was riding in the El Mirage OHV area Friday morning to check any helmet camera or vehicle footage that may help identify Goforth’s last known location.

Anyone with information about Goforth’s whereabouts or who may have seen her is asked to immediately contact her daughter, Candice Walker, at (562) 668-1988.
