BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for two suspects involved in a shooting that took place last month in southeast Bakersfield.

Police said the shooting took place in the June 22 at 12:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of Antonia Way.

According to BPD, the suspects approached and shot the victim four times then fled in a southbound direction.

Officers are describing the the first suspect as a man wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and black shoes. The second suspect was also wearing dark clothing with black and white shoes. Their gender is unknown.

BPD said the victim had moderate injuries and is expected to survive.
