A registered sex offender was charged Thursday with sexually assaulting a boy and girl in Orange County.
Tyler Michael Walker was charged with three counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14, possession of child pornography with a prior conviction and two counts of using an underage person for obscene matter, all felonies.
Walker was scheduled to be arraigned July 30 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana. Walker pleaded guilty in May 2019 to a felony count of possessing child pornography and was sentenced to 67 days in jail and placed on five years of formal probation.
His probation was revoked in August 2019, according to court records. He ran into trouble with the law again in May 2021 when two children ages 7 and 9 told their father Walker had exposed himself to them in Irvine, according to a petition to revoke his probation filed then.
When Irvine police found he had an electronic tablet the officers asked for access to it and he refused, which violated the terms of his probation, according to court records.
