BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Fire Department is asking for help in finding a man accused of starting a fire at the Luigi’s restaurant.
The fire department said the fire happened on July 11, 2026, at around 3:20 a.m. at the restaurant in east Bakersfield.
The man was last seen in the 700 block of East 19th Street after setting a building on fire.
The suspect is described as a man wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and light-colored boots.
The suspect is also known to wear a bright red baseball hat and frequents the area near the Bakersfield Rescue Mission.
