FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A person died in a crash in Northeast Fresno just before noon Monday at the intersection of Maple and Gettysburg avenues, according to Fresno police.

Police said a white Ford F-150 rear-ended a black car. The driver of the black car died at the scene.
The driver of the F-150 was taken to a hospital. Their condition is unknown.
The crash scattered debris across the roadway and prompted a road closure while investigators worked at the scene.
No additional details have been released.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
