BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — One man died, and another is hospitalized after a stabbing early Monday morning in southwest Bakersfield.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 4:30 a.m., deputies were called to the 4500 block of Frazier Avenue for a stabbing that had just happened.
When deputies arrived, they found two men with injuries.
KCSO said both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
One victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
KCSO said it is an active and ongoing investigation.
