San Diego Pride kicks off in Hillcrest with a parade, festivals, and many celebrations honoring the LGBTQ+ community.
This year’s theme, “Pride Shines On,” celebrates love, inclusion and self-expression while recognizing the ongoing fight for equality and honoring those whose advocacy helped pave the way.
While LGBTQ+ members and allies celebrate Pride Month in June, San Diego’s biggest Pride Month festivities take place in July.

The San Diego Pride Parade is the largest single-day civic event in the region and is among the largest Prides in the United States, attracting over 300,000 people each year.
Join your fellow San Diegans and enjoy colorful floats, celebrating and honoring the LGBTQ+ community.
Be sure to cheer on the NBC 7 & Telemundo 20 team as we join the Pride march and celebrate with the community.
The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Avenue and Richmond Avenue, proceeds west on University Avenue, turns south on Sixth Avenue, turns left onto Balboa Drive and ends at Quince Drive.
