BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A driver fled after a hit-and-run crash injured a man in southwest Bakersfield on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Police said the crash happened around 3:18 p.m. in the 4000 block of Wilson Road near Akers Road, where a man was struck by a vehicle. The man suffered moderate injuries.

The driver left the area after the crash, police said.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a dark-colored blue or black sedan.
Third-party footage showed a Bakersfield police vehicle, fire engine, and Hall ambulance blocking Wilson Road, which has since been cleared.
