Arc Bakersfield spotlights addiction recovery and hope with local author

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Recovery from addiction can change not only one person’s life, but also the lives of those around them.

The conversation focused on overcoming addiction, homelessness and incarceration, while helping others find hope through behavioral health. Evan Cason, director of patient engagement at Aspire Counseling Services and author of “Beyond the Street Lamp,” joined Arc Bakersfield to tell us more.
