BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck near Johannesburg in eastern Kern County Monday morning.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) website, the earthquake was reported at around 9:40 a.m. on Monday, July 13.
Its depth was reported at 7.6 kilometers, said USGS.

It comes as an earthquake struck Frazier Park early Sunday morning.

According to USGS, the earthquake struck at 3:38 a.m. and was initially reported as a magnitude 4.4 before seismologists revised it down to a 4.1 after additional data was analyzed.
