BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man was found Friday morning after going into the river at Hart Memorial Park on Thursday, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
Mario Antonio Officer, 30, entered the water at around 5:10 p.m. July 16, coroner’s officials said.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue responded to a report of a man floating in the river face down at about 5:15 p.m., KCSO said.
Officer was found at 8:50 a.m. July 17 by Search and Rescue personnel and pronounced dead.
A postmortem examination will be conducted to determine his cause and manner of death, the coroner’s office said.
On Tuesday, a 53-year-old man from Bloomington named Roberto Lopez was reported missing after falling into a pond at Hart Park at around 6 p.m. His body was found the next morning.
