An investigation is underway after San Diego sheriff’s deputies shot a person in Alpine on Wednesday, authorities said.
The incident happened around 6:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of Kyrsten Terrace.
As of 9 p.m., the person was still alive, according to the sheriff’s department. No deputies were injured during the encounter, authorities said.
