Fire activity prompts traffic delays on San Francisco’s Jones Street – NBC Bay Area

Authorities are urging the public to avoid a section of Jones Street due to an ongoing multi-floor apartment fire in San Francisco.

Three people are being evaluated with smoke inhalation, and the American Red Cross has been called, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

Emergency crews are currently on the scene between Ellis Street and Steveloe Place.

The fire is expected to cause traffic delays. Officials advise drivers to consider alternate routes and allow for additional travel time.
