Driver rescued from submerged vehicle in Fresno County canal

SANGER, Calif.(FOX26) — A canal rescue unfolded near Academy and California avenues in Fresno County.

CAL Fire Fresno says their Swiftwater Rescue Team assisted the Sanger Fire Department with the rescue.

In the video a vehicle is seen teetering in the canal as a crew member works to remove the driver away from swifter waters.

The team worked quickly to make their way out to the vehicle submerged in the canal.

They were safely able to remove the driver of the vehicle from the water.
