The Oakland City Council is expected to cast the final vote Tuesday on the sale of the Oakland Coliseum complex for $125 million.

The city owns a 50% interest in the complex. Alameda County, which owns the remaining half, has already approved its portion of the deal.

According to city documents, Oakland leaders are considering a second amendment to the original agreement that would provide better financial terms for the city.

The deal would also allow for an initial $50 million all-cash sale of the Oakland Arena to the Oak View Group.

Oak View Group co-founder Irving Azoff said the company plans to invest $40 million in upgrades to the arena.
