However, everyone in L.A. knows how difficult it is to find parking, especially if you’re just picking up a quick drink. Arguably some of the best matcha in the City can be found at Maru. While there is another location in Los Feliz, the Arts District location has a secret designer clothing store tucked behind an unassuming white wall.

DPTO ANNEX, a high-end menswear store—with some cute unisex pieces too—offers off-season collections of what they carry at their flagship store. Although there are some higher prices, the unique design of the store is worth the visit in and of itself. While you wait for your grass-green matcha or carefully crafted latte cream top coffee, check out the unique architecture and beautiful one-of-a-kind designerware.
