Anduril Industries today introduced Thunder, an unmanned rotary-powered attack aircraft co-developed with Archer Aviation.
Thunder is “designed to multiply the combat power and increase the survivability of current and next-generation crewed attack and assault aircraft,” Anduril said in a statement on its website today.
Costa Mesa-based Anduril said it has “configured Thunder to bring affordable mass to the deepest, most heavily-defended parts of the battlefield.”
The statement did not name any customers or potential customers for Thunder.
