Kei Concepts is opening a new ROL Hand Roll Bar location in La Habra at the end of July.

The approximately 2,450-square-foot space will seat 32 around the traditional hand roll sushi counter. This will be the third location of ROL, founded by Kei Concepts co-CEO Viet Nguyen in 2021.

“By focusing on quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and serving each hand roll the moment it’s ready, we’ve created an experience that guests continue to embrace,” Nguyen said in a statement.

Kei Concepts has opened three new locations in 2026 so far, including the newest Chinese cuisine concept, QUA. The Huntington Beach-based restaurant group currently operates 15 locations across eight brands, including Vox Kitchen, Kei Coffee House and SUP Noodle Bar.

Nguyen was named the Business Journal’s Restaurateur of the Year for 2026, and he with co-CEO Ivy Ha picked up the Journal’s Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award in March.
