November is serving up a full menu of flavor, fun, and feel-good moments across San Diego. From La Jolla’s oceanfront views to Mission Beach’s sun-soaked patios, the city’s restaurants are rolling out new brunches, remodels, holiday menus, and happy hour deals worth raising a glass to. Plus, with Veterans Day specials and National Happy Hour Day on the calendar, there’s something for every appetite and every kind of celebration.

Nov. 6 — Karl Strauss Golden Stout Release
Karl Strauss Brewing Co. pours its award-winning Golden Stout, brewed with Bird Rock Coffee beans, vanilla, and Ghanaian cocoa nibs. Available on draft at four brewpubs and in four-packs of 16-oz cans at select stores.

Nov. 1–Nov. 30 — The Crack Shack 10-Year Anniversary
Brought to life by the original dream team behind Juniper & Ivy, The Crack Shack celebrates its 10-year anniversary throughout November. Guests can enjoy in-store specials such as iconic deviled eggs, a $10 birthday cocktail, and custom 10-year anniversary pint glasses (buy the glass and get $5 beers all month long). Locations are in Little Italy, Encinitas, Costa Mesa, Las Vegas, and Pacific Beach. The brand also launched a loyalty program, The Flock, offering rewards and exclusive offers, and in 2026, Chef Jon Sloan’s signature sauces will be available for purchase.

Monday, Nov. 10–Friday, Nov. 21 — bb.q Chicken $1 Wings Promotion
San Diego is getting a taste of Korea’s favorite fried chicken with $1 wings at all six local bb.q Chicken locations. Guests can choose one signature flavor—Honey Garlic, Golden Original, or Secret Sauce—weekdays from 2–5 p.m., dine-in or to-go. Locations include Sorrento Valley, Vista, El Cajon, National City, Convoy, and Chula Vista. This two-week promotion is the perfect chance to try one wing and discover why the brand has a loyal following.

Now through Nov. 21 — Mama’s Pies Thanksgiving Bake Sale
Mama’s Kitchen is back with pies at $35 each: pumpkin, apple, pecan, Dutch apple, and a mystery flavor. Each pie funds 12 medically tailored meals for critically ill San Diegans. Pick up Nov. 26 at nine county-wide locations; order at MamasPies.org.

Nov. 10–mid-Jan. 2026 — George’s at the Cove Remodel
La Jolla’s George’s at the Cove closes its rooftop Ocean Terrace for renovations. The Level2 dining room and bar remain open, with lower-level lunch and dinner available when not reserved for private events. Thanksgiving and Christmas prix-fixe dinners are offered; reserve at GeorgesAtTheCove.com.

Nov. 11 — Veterans Day Specials
Hasta Mañana Cantina (Gaslamp) honors veterans and active-duty military with all-day Happy Hour: $7 drafts/well cocktails, $8 wine and margaritas, plus tacos and half-nachos.

Louisiana Purchase (North Park) offers complimentary meals for those impacted by the government shutdown, including individuals with government IDs or EBT cards. Program supported by Harvey Family Foundation and BLACK SAN DIEGO.

Weekend Brunch — Fonda del Barrio
Barrio Logan’s Fonda del Barrio serves brunch Saturdays & Sundays, 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m., featuring Huevos Motuleños, Tamal Frito Encobijado, Gordita con Chilorio, Pan Frances French toast, and brunch cocktails.

November — City Tacos Taco of the Month
The “Big Papa” taco fundraiser benefits Feeding San Diego. Golden mashed potatoes, pico de gallo, crema fresca, and cotija cheese. 20% of sales go to the non-profit. Six locations, $3.75 each.

Nov. 21–23 — Garibaldi Greek Coastal Dinner
Rooftop Garibaldi at the InterContinental San Diego hosts a four-course Greek dinner: $65 per person, optional $35 wine pairing. Dishes include Greek Village Salad, Char-grilled Octopus, and Mediterranean Seabass.

Nov. 22–Dec. 31 — Margaritaville Hotel “Yo Ho Ho-liday Tavern”
LandShark Bar & Grill transforms into a pirate-themed holiday pop-up with festive cocktails, seasonal dishes like The Kraken sandwich and Davy Jones’ Linguini, nautical décor, and live pirate appearances. Open daily 11 a.m.–close.
